Kawan by Uncle Roger

Overall
A lively Pan-Asian restaurant across two floors where noise builds quickly on both levels. Music plays throughout and tables are closely packed, especially on the ground floor which feels more intense. Around 76dB was recorded later in the evening as the room started to thin out, so expect it to be louder at peak times. Conversation becomes difficult once it is busy.

"Ground floor, weekday evening. Tight tables, ceiling speakers above you. Music blasting on arrival, turned down as the room filled, but everyone started shouting anyway. Food made it worth staying. Could not hear my friend across the table. One of the loudest rooms I have sat in."
