A French bistro on Farringdon Road that manages to feel intimate without feeling cramped. Curtains, tablecloths, carpets — the room is full of soft furnishings that quietly do their acoustic job. The music is there but stays in the background. On a Saturday lunch the crowd was light enough that conversation felt easy throughout. Ask for a window table where the spacing opens up a little.

"The music was a bit noticeable but not overpowering, and I had no issue hearing my friend. Ask for a table close to the window where the spacing is more generous. They have tablecloths, carpets, and curtains throughout, which really helps dampen the noise."
